Our Story

Hello Halloumi started with a craving - for something warm, savory, and unapologetically cheesy. Growing up in Cyprus, halloumi was a constant in our founder's life. Moving to New York, it was nowhere to be found in the way it was meant to be: fresh, comforting, and center stage. So we created a bakery that brings those flavors to life, in a city that’s always hungry for something new.

What we offer

Baked Goods

Hello Halloumi turns the coveted ingredient, along with other high-quality ones, into irresistible baked goods like bagel bites, multi-cheese puffs, focaccias, unique fries, pastries and buns. With perfect temperature control, it creates flaky crusts and soft, fluffy centers, filled with the best of mediterranean flavors.

Sweet Treats

Even though our bakery defies tradition, we still had to experiment with our star product in combination with sweet flavors. We came up with a handful of delightful sweet treats that warm the heart, with ingredients directly from the home of Halloumi, Cyprus, such as Anari cheese, tahini and carob honey.

Coffee

Pastries without coffee is like coffee without pastries; why separate soulmates? We use only specialty-grade beans, the top 6–8% of the world’s coffee harvest. They’re imported green and roasted in-house via our partner, Maillard, to bring out the richest, boldest flavor in every cup.

Not into coffee? We’ve got you. Our menu also features ceremonial-grade Matcha (and all its creamy variants), Chai, homemade Iced Tea, and our rose-flavored favorite from back home: Rose Milk.
