Once upon a time, there was a gap in New York’s food scene: a city full of sweet bakeries, but almost no places where savory took the spotlight. Hello Halloumi was created to change that; built entirely around one favorite ingredient from back home (and, as we’re learning, a favorite here too): halloumi.

Rooted in Cypriot food traditions, Hello Halloumi reimagines the bakery experience through hors d'oeuvres with serious flavor and comfort. Our halloumi is sourced directly from Cyprus through a fellow Cypriot business owner, supporting small producers and preserving the authenticity that makes it so special, in addition to using other local, to us, ingredients, like olive oil and tahini.. It’s all part of keeping this little piece of tradition alive, one little pastry at a time.

We do hors d'oeuvres that will brighten your gatherings, events, or solo pleasure, and we suggest you try a variey of flavors until you find your loved one. And yes, our halloumi is the real deal: PDO-certified, meaning it can only be made in Cyprus. Anything else is just pretending.
